" Basic Chores
"
It was almost my fifth day working with LUCA and
all I was doing was driving LUCA's fancy car. Luca was the owner and both JOE
and MIKE were his assistants. He gave them orders and they accomplish the task
with few more people and sometimes alone. LUCA was a rich guy who owned three
fancy hotels in BOSTON. I was still wondering " why has he kept his office
in this small bar " Actually, he has also few buildings behind the bar
which seemed to be residential apartments. As my last apartment was attacked by
those guys, I was living in one of the apartments across the street and suprisingly
that were owned by JOE. Whole area in 10 square-KM were owned by them.
I was
sitting outside LUCA's office on sunday when MIKE came out and call me in. As I
got in, I saw papers all over his desk and he seemed to be quite worried. He
ordered me to sit and then started "Tom! you've been with us for quite a
time. Now, it's time to prove yourself by getting the real job done for me. I'm
the gang-leader and whole neighbourhood is controlled by our gang, the GURRINEO
family. As I went to WASHINGTON last month with my boys, some of shopkeepers
didn't come to pay me. I hope we won't have a rebellion. Leave from the
back-door of bar and get into the basement of building on right. You'll get a
piece. I want you collect all my money and bring it before mid-night
I
left the bar and there was a whole garage or maybe a showroom with alot of
cars. I went to the basement and there were few doors. I went into one, "
Who are you? What do you want? " he was a young man sitting behind a table
in a room full of guns. "Mr.Luca sent me. He gave me a job to deal
with" I was abit confused. "Ahh, okay" He gave me a hand gun and
asked to greet BOSS (Luca). As I came outside, a man in orange jacket was
waiting for me. He told me Luca sent him to help me. We walked to the same
garage and he asked me to grab one of cars. After that , both of us got in and
he told me that all this garage and gun-shops were owned by our gang.
For next few hours,
we went from door to door and told them LUCA is back and you better start
paying. We collected almost 1 grand and gave it to LUCA on return. HE gave me
$200 as prize. After that, I felt to be a driver and body-guard of Luca along
with being a gang member. I used to collect money, shut business of someone who
had not permissioned by Luca and finally, threat people with a gun.
