Chapter 6
“The Act”
After taking a bath of dark while moving
across the dark street, I was a finally in front of back-door of FBA. I tried
to pick-lock the door but something stiff in lock was prohibiting the door to
open. Before I found a new way to get in, a guard from inside opened the door.
I was lucky to take advantage of dark. I was pushing my back against wall with
a heavy breath. He was in front of me but still unaware of my presence. He took
out a cigarette and start to smoke. I quietly sneak inside the bank behind him.
Now, according to map given by her, I have to move towards stairs. I started my
walk with small steps. FBA seemed to be empty. I was on stairs, when I heard a
talk between two guards on upper floor. I freeze for a moment but they walked
away shortly without noticing me.
On upper floor,
I reached the admin’s office door and opened it using the key given by her.
Finally, got the tickets from the desk and tried to put everything back. In
mean time, a guard saw me as door was open. I was drenched with fear. I rush
toward main door, knocking a national guard. Alarm was raised and I can saw
guards behind me. Before the fire, I was enabled to get out breaking the glass
of main door of FBA.
Barbra was
outside in car. I jumped into the car and she accelerated towards her
apartment. As we reached there, I promise to give her money as soon as tickets
get sold. I took the driving seat and start
moving towards the hide-out of GREASERS. I had to sell these tickets to them. I
reached their hide-out and asked for boss. A young boy came and inquired about
the deal. I was in my car with a gun in hand in case of any trouble. Deal went
smooth and I got 35 grands. This money was huge.
After leaving their hide-out, I
decided to go home but as I covered two blocks, I heard sirens of police
vehicles. Those kiddo gang GRASERS tricked me into a big mess. I was choked
with anger. I increased the speed and a chase started for police. Luckily, they
gave up after two kilometers and I speeded of to my apartment. Reaching
apartment safely seemed to be the biggest success. I jumped towards bed to fell
in lap of my dreams.
